If you know the people and personalities at Dwarfcraft you probably wouldn’t expect a chorus pedal from them, and that’s perfect, because their chorus isn’t just a chorus. It is a modulation multi-effect that offers a few twists on the old classics.
It’s called Body Mod, and it’s feature rich, but intuitive to control. The chorus and flange modes include a “Flux” control. As the flux is turned up an upper octave effect can be heard, and at full rotation the pitches spiral up and out of range in a bit of audio alchemy.
In the case of the flange rate and depth controls function just like the chorus but the flux knob is a simpler resonance dial, allowing players to dial in just the right amount of metallic zing for the occasion.
Lastly is the octave mode which provides parallel sub octave and upper octave signals that can both be filtered with the flux knob.
